Snowfall at 510 Nautilus, Take Two!

My beloved dog Reggie does not like me going out on Friday nights. She retaliates by chewing holes in my down comforter, which typically leads to me spending between 30 and 90 minutes vaccuuming my room voraciously in a vain attempt to remove the down feathers (which tend to get stuck EVERYWHERE). Reggie is not too keen on the vaccuum.

As is evident by the guilty look on her face (and the large down feather trapped in her nose), she is begging me to forgive her for eating another hole in my down comforter.

As seen from 345 California Street. Obviously, not a bad view. However, one upside to being in SoCal versus in the city in San Francisco is the weather - the skies here are a little gray relative to what I'm used to in La Jolla.

Model Shoot #2 of Spring Season

This shoot is notably different than most because this girl is actually posing on the sidewalk looking onto Windan'Sea. This past Sunday I was laying on the beach watching people fluff her hair and adjust her shirt for a good 30 minutes while the shoot rolled on. Interestingly, there were a number of camera crews and well-toned surfers with no shirts and jeans on wandering around the beach. Should be an interesting production...

Spring is Here at Windan'sea: The Good

Spring is here at Windan'sea Beach - this Sunday we enjoyed a great sunny day with temperatures reaching into the 70s. The flowers are in bloom, making walks on the trails above my apartment colorful. Featured in this pic is a beautiful arrangement of a neighbor of mine over on Kolmar Street. One day I aspire to have beautiful flowers like these in my yard...

Spring is Here at Windan'sea: The Bad

An unfortunate development of the beautiful weather at the beach is the proliferation of pseudo models that start having alleged photo shoots on the beach. Featured in this picture is one of the girls caught in action. I'm not exactly sure what kind of pictures she was posing for, but there were some provocative moves being put on. Unfortunately my iPhone camera wasn't quick enough to capture them. It's probably for the best because I like to keep this blog family friendly.

One upside of all the wanna-be model shoots is that they do provide quality entertainment for the variety of folks enjoying a walk along the beach. I'll keep my eyes peeled for other entertaining shoots, as the season is just kicking off...
