It's official...cardio kickboxing is a pretty tough workout. I wore my Garmin 405 today during class and looked down a couple of times and my heart rate was in the mid-160s. Pretty high for an hour class. Usually when I run long distances, my heart rate is in the low-160s. I think my average heartrate for the class was about 150 but that's with warm up and stretching included. So after today's class, I'm convinced that it's a great (and different) way to get an hour workout in!
